What Blizzard revealed for World of Warcraft: Forever and how Nvord is preparing to move to the new client.
Classic continues
World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard's new version of the classic game, announced in September 2026. It is still the road to level 60, now with new and expanded zones, a new race, more than a thousand quests, dungeons and raids.
From the start, the Nvord core is being rebuilt around a modern packet and client-data format so the world can move to the new client once Forever is out.
Nvord is not affiliated with Blizzard. The description below is based on Blizzard's official announcements; the timeline and scope of Forever support on Nvord will be announced separately.
